Our Story
StudyShark was started by two educators with a shared belief: tutoring should be personal, flexible, and accessible to every learner. As experienced tutors ourselves, we saw too many students falling through the cracks of one-size-fits-all systems, and we knew there had to be a better approach.
What began as a partnership to help local students in Mississauga has grown into a student-focused tutoring service offering both in-person and online support. Today, we work with learners from middle school through adulthood, providing customized, one-on-one guidance across a variety of academic subjects.
Our mission is simple: to empower students by meeting them where they are and helping them reach where they want to be.
Whether it's building confidence in class, prepping for exams, or learning something entirely new, we're here to support every step of the journey.

Co-Founder
I'm a Computer Engineering student at Toronto Metropolitan University with a strong passion for teaching. While I have a solid background in math, what truly drives me is helping others understand and feel confident in what they're learning. Over the years, I've worked with students to break down challenging topics and support their academic growth. I co-founded StudyShark to make personalized, high-quality tutoring more accessible. It's incredibly rewarding to see how the right guidance can make such a big difference in a student's journey.

I'm a Biology for Health Sciences student at the University of Toronto, with minors in Mathematics and Applied Statistics. My academic background has fueled my passion for both the sciences and education. I've worked with students across a range of subjects, including math, English, chemistry, and physics, helping them improve not only their grades but also their confidence. Co-founding StudyShark was inspired by a shared commitment to creating a supportive environment where students can receive personalized, high-quality tutoring tailored to their unique needs and goals.
